Contextual Help - Project Statistics
The Project Statistics page provides statistical data for the current project.
The Project Statistics page includes 3 elements:
The Title bar

The Title Bar
The title bar shows the page title. The following link is available at the end of the title bar:
  • The ( Help ) link lets you reach the contextual help.
The Project group
The Project group provides the number and the name of the current project.

The Statistics tables
The Statistics tables provide statistical data for the current project.
  • The "General Statistics" table provides the overall project statistics while the other tables provide project statistics broken down by "Project Users", "Task Groups", "Task Types", "Task Statuses" and "Task Priorities".
The "General Statistics" table
The "General Statistics" table provides the overall project statistics.
  • The "Total Tasks" field shows the total number of existing tasks within the current project (both "incomplete" and "completed").

  • The "Total Incomplete Tasks" field shows the total number of existing tasks within the current project that bear either a "Waiting" or an "In Progress" status.

  • The "Total Completed Tasks" field shows the total number of existing tasks within the current project that bear a "Completed" status (in other words, closed tasks).

  • The "Total Documents" field shows the number of "Task Documents" and "Project Documents" within the current project, as well as the total storage space these documents are using.

  • The "Estimated Total Hours" field shows the sum of all task "Estimated Hours" within the current project.

  • The "Actual Total Hours" field shows the sum of all work hours entered by users in time sheets, for all tasks within the current project.

    • Only work items that bear the "In progress", "Submitted or "Approved status are included in the computation. Rejected time is not included in the computation.
  • The "Estimated Average % Done" field shows the average "% Done" of all tasks within the current project.
    Estimated Average % Done 63.37%
    • The computation is made as follows: S (estimated hours X %done) / total hours
  • The "Actual Average % Done" shows the average "Actual % Done" for all tasks within the current project.
    Actual Average % Done 22.16%
    • The computation is made as follows: S (actual hours / estimated hours) / total tasks
The "Project Users Statistics" table
The "Project Users Statistics" table provides project statistics, broken down by assigned user. By default, only active users are displayed.  Inactive users' statistics may be displayed by clicking on the "Show Inactive Users" link located below the table.

  • The "Project Manager" column mentions whether the user is assigned as a "Project Manager" on the actual project or not.
  • The "Created Tasks" column shows the total number of tasks each user created within the current project.
  • The "Assigned Tasks" column shows the total number of tasks assigned to each user, within the current project.
  • The "Tasks to Review" column shows the total number of tasks each user has to review, within the current project.
  • The "Actual Hours" column shows the total number of work hours each user entered in their time sheets, for all tasks within the current project.
    • Only work items that bear the "In progress", "Submitted or "Approved status are included in the computation. Rejected time is not included in the computation.
  • The "Assigned Hours" column shows the total number of hours assigned to each user, for all tasks within the current project.
The "Task Groups Statistics" table
The "Task Groups Statistics" table provides project statistics, broken down by "Task Group".

  • The "Total Tasks" column shows the total number of tasks associated with each "Task Group", within the current project.
  • The "Estimated Total Hours" column shows the total number of "Estimated Hours" for all tasks that belong to each "Task Group", within the current project.
  • The "Actual Total Hours" column shows the total number of work hours entered by assigned users in their time sheets, for all tasks associated with each "Task Group", within the actual project.
    • Only work items that bear the "In progress", "Submitted or "Approved status are included in the computation. Rejected time is not included in the computation.
  • The "Estimated Average % Done" column shows the average "% Done" for all tasks associated with each "Task Group", within the current project.

  • The "Total Tasks" column shows the total number of tasks associated with each "Task Priority", within the current project.
